Kudelski Security joins CrowdStrike partner program in a global partnership to create teams to facilitate sales, support, training; Companies to leverage synergies and infrastructure to design, introduce and deliver new offerings of Next-Gen Cybersecurity Solutions
CHESEAUX, Switzerland and PHOENIX, Sept. 19, 2016 – Kudelski Security, a trusted advisor and cybersecurity innovator for the world’s most security-conscious organizations, today announced a strategic global partnership with CrowdStrike, the leader in cloud-delivered next-generation endpoint protection. As part of the alliance, Kudelski Security has joined the CrowdStrike Elevate Partner Program, combining its offerings with CrowdStrike’s endpoint protection platform, threat intelligence and response services to help customers stop breaches. Further, Kudelski Security will build teams versed in the technology for sales efforts, integration and deployment management, end-to-end support and training, with both organizations conducting joint marketing activities beginning with a webinar in October.
“Threats are moving closer to the end-user and CrowdStrike provides unmatched visibility for detecting attackers and protecting endpoints,” said Andrew Howard, chief technology officer, Kudelski Security. “Our teams will be deeply immersed in the technology and able to facilitate all aspects of sales and support for our clients. We view this as more than a reseller agreement; our organizations are driven to introduce next-gen advancements that keep customers a step ahead of ‘the bad guys.’ Jointly we have many complimentary capabilities, and extensive global resources, which will also enable us to expand and rapidly bring new offerings to market.”
To deliver greater best-of-breed options to its customers, Kudelski Security will resell CrowdStrike products, including: Falcon Host for next-gen endpoint protection; Falcon Overwatch for managed threat hunting; and Falcon Intelligence, providing cyber threat intelligence. All are based on the CrowdStrike Falcon™ Platform, which has dramatically advanced the ability of organizations to fight off persistent and sophisticated cyber threats.
The companies are also exploring further ways to strategically leverage their technology and services and introduce new market offerings. CrowdStrike’s Falcon Intelligence is seen as having particularly strong synergy with Kudelski Security’s Cyber Fusion Center (CFC). With a location in Switzerland, and one currently under development in Phoenix, the CFC goes beyond 24/7 threat monitoring to contextualize specific threats and recommend next steps for clients to mitigate risk and block potential attacks. The managed service is unique in its ability to fuse intelligence gained from both internal and external sources, including its community of partners and knowledge gained from its in-house Advanced Labs and Innovation Center.
“Kudelski and CrowdStrike combined have the unique global infrastructure and presence our customers need to protect against the type of threats that can only be combatted with cloud delivered security at the endpoint,” said Upesh Patel, vice president of business and corporate development for CrowdStrike. “With our shared focus in critical areas such as R&D and engineering, we are strategically well-positioned to innovate and deliver game-changing solutions, while continuing to set the industry standard for endpoint security.”
Kudelski Security provides world-class advisory services delivered through four core areas: Strategy and Governance; Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Management; Incident Response and Cyber Resilience; and Strategic Cyber Staffing. Its advisors collaborate with clients to build and articulate a clear security vision, providing a measurable plan and blueprint for achieving priorities. Kudelski Security continues to enjoy rapid global growth, highlighted by its expansion into the U.S. earlier this summer, punctuated by an already established Fortune 500 client base, unique capabilities and a plan to change how clients work with providers to design, deploy and manage cybersecurity.
The CrowdStrike Elevate Partner Program provides technology partners, solution providers, system integrators and managed service providers with the capability to deliver bespoke solutions to customers. With the CrowdStrike Orchestration and Automation initiative, and new and updated APIs via CrowdStrike Falcon Connect, partners can seamlessly integrate their solutions with CrowdStrike’s Falcon Platform. Joint customers of Kudelski Security and CrowdStrike have access to combined, advanced capabilities leveraging all existing assets within a customer’s environment, allowing them to operate in a more efficient, effective manner and respond to security threats faster and with greater accuracy.
As part of the strategic partnership, CrowdStrike and Kudelski Security will kick off joint marketing efforts with an October 13th webinar titled “Hand to Hand Combat with an Advanced Attacker,” featuring presenters from both organizations.
